AKGÜNLÜK HYDROSOL

Relaxing and Calming

Let's Get to Know the Frankincense Plant

It is obtained from trees belonging to the Boswellia genus in the Burseraceae family.

Frankincense resin is an aromatic gum resin containing essential oils, used in incense and perfumes.

Frankincense was used as a valuable substance in ancient times for religious and medicinal purposes, and it is still an important incense resin, particularly in the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox churches.

Resin is also used in aromatherapy and skincare products. It holds a valued place in Eastern medicine.

The great physician Ibn Sina, considered the father of medicine by Westerners, recommended the use of frankincense for a wide variety of bodily ailments. It has long been used in China and other parts of the East as both an internal and external treatment.
